Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictations with 98%+ accuracy across diverse specialties
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality protocols
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Utilize digital transcription software and foot pedals efficiently
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and completeness
- Collaborate with QA team to resolve discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Proficient in English grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology
- Typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-free workspace
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Completion of AHDI-approved transcription program preferred
