- Transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client data
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Format documents using client-specific templates and style guides
- Utilize industry-standard software (Express Scribe, oTranscribe)
- Collaborate with editors to resolve unclear audio segments
- Participate in quarterly quality improvement reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- 70+ words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology (BLS/CMT certification preferred)
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free home office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based platforms
- Exceptional time management and self-discipline skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
