Responsibilities
- Convert audio recordings into accurate, grammatically correct text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure high-quality output.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and client-specific instructions.
- Meet daily production quotas and quality standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client data.
- Use transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe) and digital foot pedals effectively.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding queries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional transcription experience (Medical or General preferred).
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription-specific software.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
- High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
