Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into clear, accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and medical accuracy.
- Adhere to strict client-specific formatting and style guidelines.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas and deadlines.
- Use proprietary transcription software and medical dictionaries effectively.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data security standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Medical Transcription preferred.
- Previous transcription experience or medical terminology knowledge is highly desirable.
- Typing speed of 60+ words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard transcription tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
