Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex multi-specialty provider schedules across 5+ clinic locations
- Manage patient appointment booking, rescheduling, and confirmation workflows
- Optimize provider utilization and minimize scheduling conflicts
- Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in Epic EMR system
- Implement process improvements to reduce patient wait times
- Train new staff on scheduling protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical scheduling experience in a multi-provider setting
- Proficiency with Epic EMR scheduling modules
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Certified Medical Scheduler (CMS) preferred
