Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations (patient histories, discharge summaries, operative reports) with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality
- Utilize advanced transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking)
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides (AMA, AAMT)
- Research and verify medical terminology, drug names, and procedures
- Meet daily productivity quotas without compromising quality
- Collaborate with QA team to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Certification (CMT, RHDS) preferred
- Typing speed: 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
