Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written documents with high accuracy.
- Ensure all content is formatted according to client specifications and style guides.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive medical and legal information.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets and deadlines consistently.
- Research and verify proper medical or legal terminology using provided glossaries.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to improve output standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in transcription or a related administrative role.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 60 WPM).
- Strong command of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
- Basic knowledge of medical or legal terminology is highly preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software.
