Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI agents using Python and modern deep learning frameworks.
- Optimize model inference latency and throughput for high-traffic production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Research, Product, Engineering) to translate cutting-edge research into production-ready features.
- Implement robust MLOps pipelines for model training, evaluation, and automated deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Research and evaluate new techniques in NLP, reinforcement learning, and agentic workflows.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Proven experience working with Large Language Models (GPT-4, Llama, Claude) and fine-tuning methodologies (PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
