Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Architect high-availability solutions with multi-region deployments and disaster recovery protocols
- Conduct security audits and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews for infrastructure-as-code projects
- Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities and implement FinOps best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expert proficiency in AWS/GCP services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, GKE)
- Advanced knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure or equivalent cloud architecture experience
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs while maintaining performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
