Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS/GCP and Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency
- Lead Kubernetes cluster management and monitoring (EKS/GKE)
- Automate infrastructure-as-code with Python and Go
- Collaborate with SRE teams on incident response and SLOs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive security best practices (CIS Benchmarks, IAM policies)
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Ability to work across US/UK time zones
