Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for enterprise systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure during night shift hours
- Monitor and respond to critical alerts via ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) with SLA adherence
- Execute system maintenance, patching, and security protocols during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with global teams during incident resolution and major outages
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and conduct shift handovers
- Implement automation scripts for routine monitoring tasks
- Participate in after-hours rotation for critical system deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise IT support experience with night shift exposure
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for network, storage, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Valid Alaska driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
