Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex enterprise systems during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Execute server maintenance, patch management, and system updates during low-traffic windows
- Document incident reports, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-functional projects requiring overnight coordination
- Perform proactive system health checks and vulnerability assessments
- Lead disaster recovery simulations and emergency response protocols
- Mentor junior support staff during shift transitions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise IT support experience with night shift background
- Expert-level certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNP preferred
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, AWS/Azure, and networking protocols
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint security platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex cross-platform issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting and documentation
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site equipment retrieval
