The Role
In this key position, you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, specifically focusing on technical roles within the Detroit tech ecosystem and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn, Boolean search, and networking events.
- Screening applicants to assess technical skills and cultural fit for Detroit and national clients.
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to offer.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
- Building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for future hiring now needs.
- Utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) effectively to track candidate progress.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the Detroit, MI market.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in software engineering, IT, and technical roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday.
- Strong knowledge of Boolean search techniques and social recruiting strategies.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
