The Role
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will lead technical SEO initiatives, execute data-driven campaigns, and mentor junior team members. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and account managers to ensure our clients achieve top rankings and sustainable organic traffic growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify optimization opportunities for on-page and off-page factors.
- Develop and execute data-driven keyword strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
- Collaborate with web development teams to implement schema markup, improve site speed, and resolve crawl errors.
- Analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party tools to generate actionable insights.
- Monitor industry trends and algorithm updates to adjust strategies proactively.
- Create and present monthly SEO performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a remote or digital agency environment.
- Strong understanding of Google’s latest algorithm updates (e.g., BERT, Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency with technical SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for on-page optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
