Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal audio recordings into detailed text documents with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital foot pedals for efficient workflow
- Research and verify specialized terminology to ensure document integrity
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Minimum 80 words per minute typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
