Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain 24/7 IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for internal teams and external clients
- Execute system updates, patches, and security protocols during off-peak hours
- Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures in ITSM platforms
- Collaborate with global teams during scheduled maintenance windows
- Conduct proactive system health checks and performance optimization
- Escalate critical issues to senior engineers with detailed context
- Maintain compliance with SOX, HIPAA, and NIST security frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or operations
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent experience
- Expertise in monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network, system, and security issues independently
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure during critical incidents
- Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation for on-call rotations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
