Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations across 15+ specialties (cardiology, orthopedics, etc.)
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Utilize advanced speech recognition software with quality refinement
- Meet daily productivity targets (120-150 lines/hour)
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams for continuous improvement
- Maintain 98.5%+ accuracy rate on final transcripts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Certificate in Medical Transcription (AHDI or equivalent)
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 98% accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
