Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and market trends to forecast industry landscapes through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience and innovation pipelines
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level strategic briefings translating foresight into actionable business priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and execution
- Monitor and interpret signals from R&D, patent databases, and academic research
- Author annual Future State reports and horizon-scanning publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven track record translating foresight into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM) preferred
