Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to critical cloud security incidents during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM PST)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security protocols for AWS and Azure environments
- Generate incident reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
- Provide Tier 3 support for cloud-related security escalations
- Document security procedures and create knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security or DevOps security
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure security services (IAM, Security Hub, Sentinel)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be located in San Jose, CA area for timezone alignment
