Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support via phone, chat, and remote access for enterprise clients across Omaha metropolitan area
- Monitor security systems, network infrastructure, and cloud services during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute incident response protocols including threat containment, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Document technical procedures, security incidents, and system performance metrics in compliance with NIST standards
- Collaborate with global security teams during major incident escalations
- Conduct proactive vulnerability assessments and patch management for assigned systems
- Maintain 99.9% uptime for critical infrastructure through scheduled maintenance windows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise IT support experience with focus on cybersecurity
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, AWS/Azure cloud environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex network issues remotely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Experience working night shift or rotating schedules preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
- Valid U.S. work authorization and Omaha area residency required
