Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR) during overnight hours
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and shift changes
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
