Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and AWS
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to pixel-perfect frontend implementations
- Optimize database performance and implement RESTful APIs
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Monitor application security and implement best practices
- Participate in quarterly Austin-based innovation workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack development
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- AWS certification or equivalent cloud experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex web applications
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to thrive in asynchronous remote work environments
- Experience with agile methodologies and Jira
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
