Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alerts
- Analyze network traffic patterns to identify potential threats
- Generate incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless threat resolution
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity or IT security experience
- Valid CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 MT)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with incident response procedures
