Responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve production incidents during weekend shifts with SLA adherence
- Lead root cause analysis for complex system outages and implement preventive measures
- Collaborate with on-call engineers to resolve cross-functional technical challenges
- Document incident reports and knowledge base articles for continuous improvement
- Participate in weekend deployments and system maintenance windows
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Expertise in Linux/Windows systems administration and networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- CI/CD pipeline management experience (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
