Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks 24/7 during night shift hours to detect suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents, analyze logs, and document detailed reports
- Implement security patches and updates to prevent vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with global IT teams during critical security events
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices
- Respond to alerts within SLA timeframes during night shift operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with incident response procedures and playbooks
