Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations, digital resources) for engaging lessons
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and challenges
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation for compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Arizona teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
