Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive learning platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and individual student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize multimedia tools and digital resources to create engaging learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
- Maintain accurate session records and student achievement documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Valid California teaching certificate or equivalent tutoring certification
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
