Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in mathematics and science
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic milestones
- Utilize our digital platform to schedule sessions and track educational outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Strong subject matter expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Biology, or Chemistry
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods
- Kansas teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office space
