Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Georgia state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations) to enhance learning outcomes
- Prepare students for standardized tests including SAT, ACT, and Georgia Milestones
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Georgia teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- 2+ years of in-person or virtual tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proven track record of improving student performance metrics
- Background check clearance and reliable home internet connection
- Availability for weekday after-school and weekend sessions
