Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor academic progress and provide detailed feedback to students and parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, educational software) for dynamic instruction
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and adjust teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our CRM system
- Participate in ongoing training to refine pedagogical techniques and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- Texas teaching certification (or equivalent) preferred
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Patience, empathy, and ability to motivate diverse learners
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
