Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in Algebra, Calculus, Biology, and Chemistry
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, practice platforms) during sessions
- Provide detailed progress reports and constructive feedback to students and parents
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student achievement records
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- CA Teaching Credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching/tutoring K-12 students
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in specified disciplines
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
