Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize our interactive digital platform (video conferencing, shared whiteboards, etc.) effectively
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports for parents and academic advisors
- Collaborate with our curriculum team to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with educational best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proven expertise in at least one core academic subject (K-12 level)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Strong proficiency with digital tutoring platforms and educational technology
- Valid California teaching credential or equivalent certification
