Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, SAT/ACT Prep)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and individual student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize our interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) for immersive learning
- Maintain accurate session logs and academic progress documentation
- Collaborate with curriculum team to refine tutoring methodologies and resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in virtual environments
- Valid California teaching credential or specialized subject certification
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
