Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and school partners
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, educational software) for effective instruction
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate regularly with academic coordinators
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address student needs holistically
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring, teaching, or relevant instructional experience
- Indiana teaching certification or equivalent subject matter expertise
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple student schedules
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Background check clearance required
