Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning styles and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia resources) to enhance engagement
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and EduConnect's academic support team
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms and digital educational tools
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify student learning gaps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Colorado teaching certification (or equivalent) highly desirable
- Background check and reliable home internet connection required
