Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with Texas curriculum standardsTrack student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations) during sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Participate in monthly tutor training sessions and collaborative workshops
- Maintain accurate session documentation and academic records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required)
- 1+ years of tutoring or virtual teaching experience
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
