Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NC state standards and student learning objectives
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents/educators
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, multimedia resources) to enhance learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (required)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 or college preferred)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms
- NC teaching certification (preferred but not required for non-education majors)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
