Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 or Small Group Sessions: Deliver engaging, interactive virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary platform.
- Curriculum Development: Create customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's learning style and curriculum standards.
- Student Progress Tracking: Monitor student performance, provide detailed feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to ensure mastery of concepts.
- Parent & Student Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and upcoming milestones.
- Administrative Duties: Complete session logs, attendance records, and performance reports accurately within the required timeframe.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge in assigned subjects (Math, Science, English, History, etc.) and stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred. (High school diploma and exceptional subject knowledge may be considered for specific roles).
- Experience: Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a computer with a webcam and microphone.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly.
- Patience & Empathy: A patient, encouraging, and student-centered approach to learning.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a set schedule (e.g., evenings and weekends) as per company needs.
