Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for clients remotely.
- Customer Communication: Interact with customers via phone, email, and chat to understand technical problems and provide clear, jargon-free explanations.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support tickets, resolutions, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Remote Access: Utilize remote desktop tools to assist clients with complex setups and configurations.
- Feedback Loop: Identify common technical issues and provide feedback to the product team to improve future software iterations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT customer service.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
- Tools: Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira).
