Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern programming languages.
- System Optimization: Analyze and optimize database queries, reduce latency, and ensure high availability of our core systems.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and frontend developers to deliver high-quality features on time.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Security: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js. Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Cloud: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Frameworks: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Location: Must be based in the United States or United Kingdom.
