Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration of legacy systems to scalable cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop security-compliant solutions adhering to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to deliver robust cloud services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for automation scripting
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud environments for scalability and cost
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
