Responsibilities
- Transcribe complex audio/video recordings with 99%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and corporate domains
- Adhere to strict HIPAA/GDPR compliance protocols for sensitive data handling
- Utilize advanced editing tools to perfect transcripts including timestamp synchronization and speaker identification
- Manage high-volume workloads with 24-hour turnaround deadlines
- Train junior transcriptionists on quality standards and proprietary software
- Collaborate with QA teams to resolve technical ambiguities
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional transcription experience with verifiable samples
- Certification in medical/legal transcription (CMT, CLA) preferred
- Minimum 100 WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Expertise in Express Scribe, Dragon Legal, or equivalent platforms
- Fluency in industry-specific terminology (medical/legal)
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
