Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex multi-specialty provider schedules across 3+ clinics
- Optimize appointment utilization while maintaining 15-minute patient flow targets
- Manage patient intake processes including insurance verification and EMR data entry
- Resolve scheduling conflicts with diplomacy and proactive communication
- Train staff on scheduling protocols and system updates
- Generate monthly utilization reports for department leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in medical scheduling or healthcare coordination
- Expert knowledge of Epic EMR scheduling modules
- Proven ability to manage high-volume appointment systems (100+ daily)
- Strong conflict resolution skills with patients and providers
- Medical terminology certification or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency for reporting and analysis
