Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings from medical/legal professionals into polished written documents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client information
- Utilize specialized transcription software and optimize voice recognition tools
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology accuracy
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining 99%+ accuracy standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team to resolve complex transcription challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Proven typing speed of 85+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or equivalent software
- Deep knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and legal documentation standards
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
- Fluent English with strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax
