Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictations across specialties including radiology, cardiology, and pathology
- Ensure 99.5% accuracy in patient documentation with strict HIPAA compliance
- Utilize AI-powered editing tools to enhance transcription efficiency
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous dictations
- Maintain organized digital records with standardized formatting
- Meet daily productivity targets of 50-75 minutes of transcribed audio
- Participate in quarterly quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical transcription experience
- Credentialing as a Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS)
- Typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
